The talented Ms.Hayden kicked things off with a frightfully fun art session. Students created spooky webs and spiders! In the music room, Ms.Sherlock had everyone playing instruments, singing, clapping, and dancing to spooky tunes. Her magical musical touch turned students into a Halloween choir to remember! Next stop: invention central! Ms. Fitzpatrick, our resident engineering mastermind, turned the classroom into a hub of creativity and construction. She challenged students to build spooky structures and creepy contraptions using LEGO. From balloon keepy-uppy to hula hoops, Mr.Gurhy brought the energy! St. Clare’s own answer to Joe Wicks had everyone moving, laughing, and loving every minute of his spooky fitness fun. The sun was shining, the skies were blue, and it was the perfect weather for a nature walk!πΏπ¦π Our Senior Infants set off on their nature walk – chatting with friends and spotting crunchy, colourful leaves everywhere… a sure sign that autumn has arrived! When we got to the playground… oh, the excitement! The children zoomed down the slides, swung so high the swings nearly took off, and tackled the monkey bars like little ninjas! They were fearless! In fact, they were so brave that a few teachers may have aged five years watching them. There were gasps, nervous laughter, and a few whispered prayers — especially when someone went on the parallel bar slide!π Heart palpitations aside, we were so proud of how adventurous and confident everyone was. It was a day full of sunshine, fun, and a few deep breaths from the adults!
